Precision Intelligence for Long-Term Health Optimization with Longevity Labs in McKinney, TX

Hartwater Wellness is McKinney’s longevity diagnostics clinic, offering physician-interpreted lab panels designed to measure the biological systems that govern how fast you age, not just whether disease is already present. Every panel is processed through Quest Diagnostics, the nation’s leading clinical reference laboratory, with blood drawn in-house at our McKinney facility by experienced clinical staff. Located at 7200 W University Dr, Ste 170, we serve patients across McKinney, Allen, Frisco, Prosper, and Collin County who want more than a standard annual physical can provide. Our diagnostic philosophy is simple: you cannot optimize what you have not measured. Whether you are building a baseline before starting a hormone, peptide, GLP-1, or hyperbaric protocol, or you are a longevity-focused individual who wants to track biological age, cardiovascular risk, and metabolic function over time, Hartwater’s lab panels give you the data, and the clinical interpretation, to act with precision.

WHAT ARE LONGEVITY LAB PANELS?

A longevity lab panel is a comprehensive biomarker assessment designed to measure the biological systems that govern how fast you age, not just whether disease is present. Unlike a standard annual physical that detects advanced pathology, a longevity panel identifies early metabolic dysfunction, hormonal imbalances, inflammatory burden, nutritional deficiencies, and cardiovascular risk decades before symptoms appear.

Why Standard Labs Leave Longevity Patients Without Answers

If you have had an annual physical recently, your physician likely ordered a basic panel: a complete blood count (CBC), a comprehensive metabolic panel (CMP), a standard lipid panel, and possibly a hemoglobin A1c or thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH) test. These panels are designed to detect disease that has already developed. They are excellent at confirming diabetes, flagging kidney failure, or identifying anemia. They are not designed to tell you how fast you are aging, whether your cardiovascular risk is elevated at the particle level, or whether your body is carrying an inflammatory burden that will manifest as chronic disease in ten or twenty years.

What a Standard Annual Physical Misses

A standard annual physical typically measures approximately 15–20 analytes focused on detecting established pathology. It does not measure apolipoprotein B (ApoB), the single strongest lipid predictor of cardiovascular events. It does not assess lipoprotein(a), an inherited cardiovascular risk factor present in roughly 20% of the population that standard lipid panels never capture. It does not evaluate fasting insulin or calculate HOMA-IR, which identifies insulin resistance years before blood glucose rises enough to trigger a diabetes diagnosis. It does not test intracellular magnesium, CoQ10 status, or biological age. A longevity panel starts where a standard physical ends.

The Difference Between Disease Detection and Health Optimization

Conventional medicine operates on a disease-detection model: wait until markers cross a clinical threshold, then treat. Longevity medicine operates on an optimization model: measure everything that matters, identify trajectory, and intervene before the threshold is reached. Hartwater Wellness exists in the optimization space. Our lab panels do not replace your primary care physician’s annual bloodwork, they extend it into the territory your PCP’s panel was never designed to cover.

THE HARTWATER DIAGNOSTIC PHILOSOPHY

Hartwater’s approach to longevity diagnostics rests on three principles that distinguish us from both commodity lab companies and direct-to-consumer testing brands. All Hartwater lab panels are processed through Quest Diagnostics, the nation’s largest clinical reference laboratory, processing approximately 170 million requisitions per year. Quest’s analytical infrastructure is the same platform used by major hospital systems and academic medical centers. Your blood draw happens at our McKinney clinic, no separate appointment at an outside lab facility, no scheduling delays, no lost requisitions. One visit, one draw, and your samples are immediately sent in for processing.

Physician-interpreted, not just lab reported

Many online, direct-to-consumer testing companies have jumped on the biohacking trend, using influencers to promote mail-order lab tests with slick visualizations. But the result is data without a clinical relationship: a report emailed to someone with no provider to call, no protocol to follow, and no accountability for outcomes. A 47-year-old with a biological age of 52 does not need a PDF, they need a physician who can explain what is driving the gap and build an intervention plan to close it. At Hartwater Wellness, every longevity lab panel at Hartwater Wellness is reviewed and interpreted by our physician and includes a one-on-one consultation where your results are reviewed in the context of your health history, goals, and existing protocols.

Lab work as part of your longevity protocol

A single lab draw is a snapshot. A longevity protocol requires a timeline. Hartwater’s diagnostic model operates on a longitudinal framework: baseline measurement to establish your reference values, 90-day re-test after initiating any new protocol to confirm biomarker response, and annual comprehensive re-assessment to track biological age trajectory and adjust long-term protocols. This is what transforms a one-time transaction into a managed clinical relationship. Your labs are the foundation of every treatment decision Hartwater makes on your behalf.

LONGEVITY LAB PANELS AT HARTWATER WELLNESS

The Phenotypic Age Panel measures your biological age, how old your body is actually behaving at the cellular level, using validated biomarkers shown to correlate with mortality risk and biological aging. The output is a single biological-age number you can track over time, alongside a chronological-age comparison. Most patients run this at baseline and repeat every 6 to 12 months to see whether interventions are moving the needle. For a full deep dive on biological age testing at Hartwater, see our Biological Age Test page.

$299

Cardiometabolic Optimization Panel

The Cardiometabolic Optimization Panel goes far beyond standard cholesterol testing. It includes advanced lipid markers (ApoB, Lp(a), lipid subfractions), insulin dynamics, and a deeper read on metabolic syndrome and cardiovascular risk than a routine physical provides. This panel is the right call for patients with family history of heart disease, patients with metabolic syndrome features (high blood pressure, abdominal weight, insulin resistance), or anyone serious about cardiovascular longevity. Recommended at baseline and every 6 months during active optimization.

$599

Foundational Metabolic & Micronutrient Panel

The Foundational Metabolic & Micronutrient Panel is Hartwater's standard baseline for every new patient. It captures comprehensive metabolic markers (glucose, insulin, lipid subfractions, kidney and liver function) alongside the micronutrient picture (vitamins, minerals, amino acids, fatty acids, antioxidants) that drives energy, cognition, and resilience. This is the right starting point for most patients, especially those building a baseline before hormone, peptide, GLP-1, or HBOT protocols. We typically repeat it every 3 to 6 months during active optimization.

$799

Ultra-Deep Longevity Intelligence Panel

The Ultra-Deep Longevity Intelligence Panel is Hartwater's most comprehensive single panel, combining advanced cardiovascular and inflammation markers, glycemic dynamics, micronutrient breadth, heavy metals screening, and ApoE genetic testing (which informs both cardiovascular and Alzheimer's risk) into a single ultra-comprehensive baseline. This is for the longevity-focused patient who wants the deepest possible read at one point in time, or who is starting a multi-protocol Hartwater program and wants every system characterized before beginning.

$2,999

Mold Exposure & Allergens Panel

The Mold Exposure & Allergens Panel screens for mycotoxin exposure (mold toxins from water-damaged buildings) alongside a comprehensive allergen IgE panel. Mold exposure is a frequently missed cause of fatigue, brain fog, sinus and respiratory symptoms, and persistent inflammation that does not resolve with standard care. We recommend this panel for patients with a history of water damage in home or workplace, unexplained fatigue or cognitive symptoms, or any pattern of inflammation that is not adding up.

$499

Environmental Burden & Inflammation Panel

The Environmental Burden & Inflammation Panel measures heavy metals exposure (lead, mercury, cadmium, arsenic) alongside advanced inflammatory markers (hsCRP, IL-6, TNF-alpha, fibrinogen). Chronic low-grade inflammation and accumulated environmental toxicity are two of the most underappreciated drivers of aging and disease, and both are largely invisible without testing. Indicated for patients with unexplained fatigue, autoimmune symptoms, occupational exposure, or anyone optimizing aggressively for longevity. Repeat every 6 months as needed.

$599

Neurocognitive & Brain Longevity Panel

The Neurocognitive & Brain Longevity Panel uses advanced biomarker testing including AD-Detect ABeta 42/40 ratio and p-tau217, the same blood-based Alzheimer's risk markers used in current clinical research. This panel is for patients with family history of Alzheimer's or other neurodegenerative disease, patients experiencing cognitive symptoms, or anyone pursuing brain longevity proactively. The investment is significant because the science is significant: detecting Alzheimer's risk biomarkers in your 50s or 60s opens a window for intervention that disappears once symptoms develop. Annual repeat when indicated.

$2,999

Cancer Risk Mapping Panel

The Cancer Risk Mapping Panel is a comprehensive hereditary cancer gene panel that screens for inherited risk across the most common and clinically actionable cancer susceptibility genes (BRCA1/2, Lynch syndrome, and others). For patients with a personal or family history of cancer, this one-time genetic screen provides information that can shape long-term screening and prevention decisions. Results are interpreted alongside your full medical history by our physician. This is a one-time test, not a recurring panel.

HOW MUCH DO LONGEVITY LABS COST IN MCKINNEY, TX?

Longevity lab panels at Hartwater Wellness range from $299 for the Phenotypic Age Panel (the most accessible entry point) to $2,999-$3,999 for our deepest single panels (Neurocognitive & Brain Longevity, Ultra-Deep Longevity Intelligence, Cancer Genetic Risk Mapping). Most new patients begin with the Foundational Metabolic & Micronutrient Panel at $799, which provides the comprehensive baseline that informs every other intervention.

All panels include physician interpretation and a results review consultation. Insurance does not typically cover longevity-focused testing (because the markers go beyond standard disease screening), but we accept HSA, FSA, cash, and major credit cards. Itemized receipts are available for HSA and FSA reimbursement.

WHICH PANEL IS RIGHT FOR ME?

The right panel depends on where you are in your longevity journey and what you are trying to learn. Most patients fall into one of three situations:

Starting From Scratch: Build a Baseline

If this is your first physician-supervised longevity panel, start with the Foundational Metabolic & Micronutrient Panel ($799). It captures the metabolic, hormonal, and nutritional picture that informs every other intervention you might pursue. Many patients add the Phenotypic Age Panel ($299) at the same draw to anchor a biological-age starting point you can track over time.

Preparing for a Hormone, Peptide, GLP-1, or HBOT Protocol

If you are starting one of our other therapies, the Foundational Metabolic & Micronutrient Panel ($799) is the minimum baseline. For hormone therapy specifically, we add the Hormone Baseline lab panel as a separate workup. For metabolic-focused protocols like GLP-1, the Cardiometabolic Optimization Panel ($599) adds the advanced lipid and insulin markers we use to track cardiovascular response.

Tracking Longevity and Biological Age Over Time

If your focus is long-term biological-age tracking and longevity intelligence, the Phenotypic Age Panel ($299) is the right ongoing measurement, repeated every 6 to 12 months. Patients pursuing aggressive longevity optimization often pair it with the Ultra-Deep Longevity Intelligence Panel ($2,999) annually for the deepest possible single-time snapshot.

HOW THE PROCESS WORKS AT HARTWATER

Consultation and Panel Selection

Every lab order at Hartwater starts with a physician consultation. We review your history, your goals, and any prior lab work, then recommend the panel or combination of panels that fits your situation. This step matters because longevity panels are only as valuable as the interpretation behind them. Choosing the wrong panel, or running a panel without context, leaves you with data and no plan.

In-House Blood Draw and Lab Processing

Blood draws are performed in-house at our McKinney office by experienced clinical staff. Samples are processed through Quest Diagnostics, the nation's leading clinical reference laboratory, which is CLIA-certified and trusted by the same physicians who order traditional bloodwork. Most results return within 7 to 10 business days; advanced and specialty panels can take 2 to 3 weeks.

Physician Review and Results Discussion

When your results return, your physician personally reviews them before your results consultation. We walk through the markers that matter most, explain what they mean in plain language, and translate the findings into a clear next-step plan, whether that's a follow-up panel, a hormone or peptide protocol, or specific lifestyle and supplement changes. The interpretation is the entire point of running physician-supervised panels rather than at-home kits.
